Bolar blade is a beef shoulder cut (AUS-MEAT 2302), distinct from oyster blade (2303). Check its seams and plan trimming for a whole roast or slow braise.
Ask about trimming and suitability for your recipe; this is not automatically a quick-cook steak.

Bolar blade comes from the beef shoulder blade area and includes much of the triceps group. AUS-MEAT lists it as cut 2302, separate from oyster blade (2303) and the flat iron prepared from that other cut.
Check the actual seams and connective tissue before choosing a trim. Roasting as a whole piece or slow braising may suit the cut; these archive photos do not establish what is in stock today.

I cooked it to around medium and enjoyed the rich beef aroma. I would consider buying it again.
